Mark Burrows, Jay Hirst and I on site today. Mark was only available half the day, so he barred round and oiled the power unit and turbos. Jay and I refitted the secondman's side tail lamp and reconnected it. I got new fixing bolts which were slightly bigger than the originals, so the lamp unit and the recess on the cab front had the fixing holes drilled out. Problems with my battery drill meant the driver's side unit couldn't be fitted. We noticed three of the four tail lamp units were missing the bolts that hold the lenses, so I brought the surviving one home to obtain some more. Dave Rolfe has been cleaning and painting more airpipes for the brake frame ready to be re-fitted. Last workparty, Jay and new member Richard Wade, who is an electrician, checked the lighting circuits in No.2 cab and refitted the lenses on the two cab ceiling light fittings. They found the light switch above the driver's side cab door was not working, so they got a spare from store and fitted it.
